Fashion and vibes collide at Pure White
Elegance and high energy defined Cross Roads, St Andrew, last weekend as Kirk Mathew’s ‘Pure White’ All-White celebration turned The D’Lux Entertainment Centre, 1A Caledonia Avenue, into a glowing white wonderland.
True to its name, the venue was completely dressed in white — from flowing drapes and radiant lighting to the stylish crowd that filled every corner of the space.
From the moment the doors opened, the energy never dipped. DJ Banka arrived later in the night, easing patrons into a smooth musical groove with his blend of dancehall classics and fresh selections, helping to maintain the already charged atmosphere. Sound Govament delivered a solid sonic experience, keeping the crowd locked in with crisp transitions and steady basslines, while guest selectors rotated throughout the night, ensuring the dance floor stayed packed.
However, it was the women who undeniably stole the spotlight. Dressed in striking all-white ensembles — lace, satin, sequins, and bespoke designer fits — they turned the venue into an unplanned runway. Every flash of light caught shimmering details as laughter, selfies, and confident poses defined the night between sets.
By closing time, Pure White had evolved into more than a dress code event — it was a full cultural moment, defined by style, unity, and vibrant energy.
Kirk Mathew once again delivered a standout weekend experience. Here are the highlights.
