Bare Skinz has Negril pulsing again
After a night that had Negril buzzing, Dwayne Parkinson says Bare Skinz has proven that the town is ready to reclaim its crown as a top-tier party destination.
With dancehall favourites Shaneil Muir and Tommy Lee Sparta headlining the showcase, each bringing their own brand of intensity to the stage, he said the positive feedback from patrons and stakeholders shows the resurgence is already in motion.
"We're happy we could deliver two of Jamaica's best to the town of Negril. Tommy Lee Sparta and Shaneil Muir were a perfect combination for tonight," said Parkinson of Damage Musiq Group.
He said the feedback was good and responses from patrons have been extremely positive.
"I'm grateful for the support from the authorities, sponsors, patrons and all who contributed to the success. This is us moving to bring that resurgence to Negril," Parkinson said.
Negril pulsed with unfiltered energy last Saturday, as Bare Skinz Negril delivered a night of high-octane entertainment that reaffirmed the resort town's place on Jamaica's party map.
Held at Wavz Beach, the event attracted a vibrant crowd hungry for top-tier vibes, and the line-up delivered from start to finish.
Shaneil Muir commanded the stage with confidence and charisma, wasting no time igniting the audience. She powered through hits such as 3D, Top Gyal and Naturally, Hype and Boasy and Likkle Miss, instantly establishing a connection with the crowd.
Showing her versatility, she also served up an introspective segment with songs such as The Pain, Lose To Win and Same Guy, keeping the attention of the fans, who sang along word for word.
Tommy Lee Sparta closed the show with a gripping performance that kept the energy surging.
Known for his intense stage presence, the deejay rolled out a catalogue of hits, including Buss A Blank, Protocol, Under Vibes and Rich Badness, each track met with roaring approval.
Amid the high-energy delivery, Tommy Lee Sparta carved out a moment of reflection, urging patrons to prioritise self-love and self-reliance. His message moment quickly transitioned back into the music, treating fans to selections like Spartan Angel, Blessings and Holding Out The Pressure.
The pace never dipped, as he unleashed Psycho and tracks from the popular 'Control' rhythm, including Control, before exiting the stage to Cyber Freak -- a parting one for the females in the audience.
