Capleton is proving that conscious reggae still commands a powerful audience.

The reggae firebrand has now spent a second consecutive week at No. 1 on the US

reggae pre-order charts with his forthcoming album Heights Of Fire, signalling

that one of Jamaica's most enduring voices remains as relevant as ever.

With the album's June 26 release date drawing closer, excitement continues to build

around the project, which many industry observers believe could emerge as one of

the year's most impactful reggae releases.

The highly anticipated set brings together an impressive cast of collaborators,

including reggae heavyweights Damian Marley and Stephen Marley, alongside rising

star Eesah. The album's sonic landscape is crafted by an international team of

producers, blending traditional reggae foundations with contemporary production

elements.

“The momentum is clearly building and the response from audiences has been

extremely encouraging so far,” said Derrick Maître, CEO of Evidence Music, the

independent label behind the project. Fans have already embraced early releases

from the album, and several more tracks are scheduled to arrive ahead of the full

project. Upcoming singles include Highway Robbers, and Babylon So Evil, a

highly anticipated collaboration featuring the aforementioned Marley brothers.

For Capleton, Heights Of Fire represents the latest chapter in a remarkable career

spanning more than three decades. Since emerging as one of dancehall and reggae's

most commanding voices in the late 1980s, the artiste has built a catalogue filled with

influential releases, including the classic Prophecy and the Grammy-nominated

More Fire, which produced fan favourites such as Jah Jah City and Who Dem?

Yet rather than relying on nostalgia, Capleton continues to push forward creatively.

Heights Of Fire finds the legendary performer balancing roots reggae authenticity

with modern musical textures while staying firmly committed to the themes that

have defined his career: spirituality, resistance, justice and righteousness.
